I wanted to remaster this gem I took, which looked like Archangel Michael wielding a sword in the sky. I see his energies in meditation as indigo and violet, so the edits were to illustrate how my mind saw this gem in the sky. This photo was originally taken in 2014 but edited to this perspective recently.
I am a photographer (though in past years, have had critics say I am a picture taker since I'm almost all of my work with an iPhone until I can justify buying an LDSR camera when I am in a place to start stormchasing more often. After the covidpocalypse dies down, my goal is to end my hiatus for live art shows and start shows back up in Eugene, Oregon. Lately, I've been playing around with making a photograph not look like a photograph or edit in a way to show what my mind sees when taking a picture. My photography subject matter is primarily scenery/subject matter. I try to incorporate styles of other art forms into my photography and more recently adding graphic design elements.
