After chasing a dying cluster of severe storms, I was surrounded by storms. I sat in my car facing east on Farmer's Turnpike between Lecompton and Lawrence, Kansas, and I got this with my iPhone.
I am a photographer (though in past years, have had critics say I am a picture taker since I'm almost all of my work with an iPhone until I can justify buying an LDSR camera when I am in a place to start stormchasing more often. After the covidpocalypse dies down, my goal is to end my hiatus for live art shows and start shows back up in Eugene, Oregon. Lately, I've been playing around with making a photograph not look like a photograph or edit in a way to show what my mind sees when taking a picture.
