This is at a wetlands site on the west edge of Eugene, Oregon. I noticed the strong energy of this tree, kind of like the lone trees I would see thriving on the prairie near my hometown. I edited to get the aura of the tree showing, like my mind sees it. The colors that turned up showed how my mind saw the energies of this space.
I am a photographer (though in past years, have had critics say I am a picture taker since I'm almost all of my work with an iPhone until I can justify buying an LDSR camera when I am in a place to start stormchasing more often. After the covidpocalypse dies down, my goal is to end my hiatus for live art shows and start shows back up in Eugene, Oregon. Lately, I've been playing around with making a photograph not look like a photograph or edit in a way to show what my mind sees when taking a picture. My photography subject matter is primarily scenery/subject matter. I try to incorporate styles of other art forms into my photography and more recently adding graphic design elements.
