What I loved about this photo is that the way the leaves are changing are similar to a metamorphosis changing from one state to the other. This photo on canvass sold at my 2016 art show at the moment a good friend passed away in a motorcycle accident. Putting this on here is my homage to him.
I am a photographer (though in past years, have had critics say I am a picture taker since I'm almost all of my work with an iPhone until I can justify buying an LDSR camera when I am in a place to start stormchasing more often. After the covidpocalypse dies down, my goal is to end my hiatus for live art shows and start shows back up in Eugene, Oregon. Lately, I've been playing around with making a photograph not look like a photograph or edit in a way to show what my mind sees when taking a picture. My photography subject matter is primarily scenery/subject matter. I try to incorporate styles of other art forms into my photography and more recently adding graphic design elements.
