As a stormchaser and former Urban Planning major, once I returned to Kansas, I vowed to visit Greensburg after their devastating tornado. I wish everyone could visit this town. They did a rebuild properly and harmoniously with nature. This was the sun's reflections off their new art gallery, 5.4.7, paying tribute to the catastrophic event that was their rebirth. This town has an incredible amount of spirit. It was a humbling visit.
About Michael Oceanofwisdom Bidwell
I am a photographer (though in past years, have had critics say I am a picture taker since I'm almost all of my work with an iPhone until I can justify buying an LDSR camera when I am in a place to start stormchasing more often. After the covidpocalypse dies down, my goal is to end my hiatus for live art shows and start shows back up in Eugene, Oregon. Lately, I've been playing around with making a photograph not look like a photograph or edit in a way to show what my mind sees when taking a picture. My photography subject matter is primarily scenery/subject matter. I try to incorporate styles of other art forms into my photography and more recently adding graphic design elements.
