When my closest friend and minister was up to visit from Washington state, I took him to Baker Wetlands on a rather hot, winter day. There were so many chemtrails in the sky. I captured this, which was the vitality of the wetlands meeting humans playing God with the weather. So many emotions were evoked in me capturing this.
I am a photographer (though in past years, have had critics say I am a picture taker since I'm almost all of my work with an iPhone until I can justify buying an LDSR camera when I am in a place to start stormchasing more often. After the covidpocalypse dies down, my goal is to end my hiatus for live art shows and start shows back up in Eugene, Oregon. Lately, I've been playing around with making a photograph not look like a photograph or edit in a way to show what my mind sees when taking a picture. My photography subject matter is primarily scenery/subject matter. I try to incorporate styles of other art forms into my photography and more recently adding graphic design elements.
