One day, I decided that I needed to get some silence. I went on a drive out towards the Coast Range in Lane County and took the backroads to get into Blachly State Forest. This path actually leads up to a campsite. The only noises were the sounds of nature.
I am a photographer (though in past years, have had critics say I am a picture taker since I'm almost all of my work with an iPhone until I can justify buying an LDSR camera when I am in a place to start stormchasing more often. After the covidpocalypse dies down, my goal is to end my hiatus for live art shows and start shows back up in Eugene, Oregon. Lately, I've been playing around with making a photograph not look like a photograph or edit in a way to show what my mind sees when taking a picture. My photography subject matter is primarily scenery/subject matter. I try to incorporate styles of other art forms into my photography and more recently adding graphic design elements.
