When I saw this house when walking on a trail at Lucia Falls Park in Clark County, Washington, I saw a scene of what I call the ideal way to live...as I see myself creating an off-the-grid intentional community with bed, breakfast, and dinner in the long term. I yearn for being away from all of the energetic and literal noise of urban life.
I am a photographer (though in past years, have had critics say I am a picture taker since I'm almost all of my work with an iPhone until I can justify buying an LDSR camera when I am in a place to start stormchasing more often. After the covidpocalypse dies down, my goal is to end my hiatus for live art shows and start shows back up in Eugene, Oregon. Lately, I've been playing around with making a photograph not look like a photograph or edit in a way to show what my mind sees when taking a picture. My photography subject matter is primarily scenery/subject matter. I try to incorporate styles of other art forms into my photography and more recently adding graphic design elements. Most of my work is using an iPhone SE and now iPhone 11...
