The one thing I loved about growing up in the Flint Hills were the rolling hills where the road looks like it is going on forever. I was contemplating a stormchase with conditional severe weather chances. While the storms didn't get going to severe limits, it lead me on a journey down Tallgrass Road in Wabaunsee County. There is something romantic about driving down a gravel road with rolling hills.

I am a photographer (though in past years, have had critics say I am a picture taker since I'm almost all of my work with an iPhone until I can justify buying an LDSR camera when I am in a place to start stormchasing more often. After the covidpocalypse dies down, my goal is to end my hiatus for live art shows and start shows back up in Eugene, Oregon. Lately, I've been playing around with making a photograph not look like a photograph or edit in a way to show what my mind sees when taking a picture. My photography subject matter is primarily scenery/subject matter. I try to incorporate styles of other art forms into my photography and more recently adding graphic design elements.
